In addition, Ernest Bevin College in Tooting was named the fifth most improved school in the country with GCSE results rising 35% over the last four years.

Green space in Lambeth

Battersea Park is perhaps the best-known area of green space in the borough of Wandsworth. Covering 200 acres of land on the south bank of the River Thames, Battersea Park contains a children’s zoo, tennis courts, golf facilities and the Pump House Gallery.
